»On pa je rekel: 'Še bolj blagor tistim, ki Božjo besedo poslušajo in se po njej ravnajo.'« (Lk 11,28)

Božja beseda je živa in deluje v vsakem, ki joj posluša in veruje. V veri smo Jezusovi sodobniki in nam omogoča, da ga utelesimo danes in tukaj. Vera omogoča, da smo danes in tukaj Kristusovo telo za naš svet. To ni posebna čast, ampak dolžnost in odgovornost slehernega izmed krščenih. Poslušajmo njegovo besedo, da postane meso v našem življenju.

"Pero él dijo: 'Tanto más dichosos los que oyen la palabra de Dios y la obedecen'" (Lucas 11:28).

La Palabra de Dios está viva y actúa en todo el que la escucha y la cree. En la fe somos contemporáneos de Jesús y nos permite encarnarlo aquí y ahora. La fe nos permite ser el Cuerpo de Cristo para nuestro mundo de hoy y de aquí. No se trata de un honor especial, sino del deber y la responsabilidad de toda persona bautizada. Obedezcamos a su palabra para que se haga carne en nuestras vidas.

"But he said, 'All the more blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it'" (Luke 11:28).

God's Word is alive and active in everyone who hears it and believes it. In faith we are contemporaries of Jesus and it enables us to embody him here and now. Faith enables us to be the Body of Christ for our world today and here. This is not a special honour, but a duty and a responsibility for every baptised person. Let us obey his word to become flesh in our lives.
