»Če pa z Božjim prstom izganjam demone, potem je prišlo k vam Božje kraljestvo.« (Lk 11,20)

Kristus vzame moč laži o tem, kdo je Bog, kdo smo mi in zakaj smo tukaj. Sovražnik človeške narave nas lovi na strah in laž o Bogu, o nas in o življenju. Na križu mu je Kristus vzel oblast nad nami in nas osvobodil demonske oblasti. S svojim stvariteljskim prstom nas prefinjeno oblikuje v sinove in hčere našega Očeta in člane Božje družine. To je poslanstvo Kristusovega Svetega Duha, ki smo ga deležni pri krstu in pri vsaki evharistiji.

"But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you." (Luke 11:20)

Christ takes away the power of the lie about who God is, who we are and why we are here. The enemy of human nature preys on us to fear and lie about God, about us and about life. On the cross, Christ took away his power over us and freed us from demonic power. With his creative finger, he is subtly shaping us into sons and daughters of our Father and members of God's family. This is the mission of Christ's Holy Spirit, which we share in Baptism and in every Eucharist.

"Pero si yo expulso los demonios con el dedo de Dios, entonces ha llegado a vosotros el reino de Dios". (Lucas 11:20)

Cristo quita el poder de la mentira sobre quién es Dios, quiénes somos y por qué estamos aquí. El enemigo de la naturaleza humana se aprovecha de nosotros para atemorizarnos y mentir sobre Dios, sobre nosotros y sobre la vida. En la cruz, Cristo nos quitó su poder sobre nosotros y nos liberó del poder demoníaco. Con su dedo creador, nos está moldeando sutilmente para que seamos hijos e hijas de nuestro Padre y miembros de la familia de Dios. Esta es la misión del Espíritu Santo de Cristo, que compartimos en el Bautismo y en cada Eucaristía.
