»Tisti, ki so hodili spredaj, so ga grajali, naj umolkne; on pa je še bolj vpil: 'Davidov sin, usmili se me!'« (Lk 18,39)

Dokler ne poznamo Jezusa, drug drugemu grozimo. Če moliš, ti drugi pogosto hočejo vzeti pogum in te utišati. Ne smemo popustiti, ne smemo se razjeziti in popustiti. Naj se naše vpitje k Bogu še stopnjuje. Vztrajajmo v molitvi. Slepi smo pa vsi. Še posebej tisti, ki mislimo, da vidimo in si upamo soliti pamet drugim ali jih obsojati in soditi. Gospod pa gre mimo in odgovarja na mojo in tvojo potrebo po daru in usmiljenju. Z vsako besedo molitve dovolimo, da Njegova svetloba vstopa v nas in nas popolnoma razsvetli v Očetovi ljubezni.

"Those who went before rebuked him, telling him to be silent; but he cried out all the more, 'Son of David, have mercy on me'" (Luke 18:39).

Until we know Jesus, we threaten one another. If you pray, others often want to take courage and silence you. We must not give in, we must not get angry and give in. Let our cry to God increase. Let us persevere in prayer. But we are all blind. Especially those of us who think we can see and dare to add salt to the wits of others or to judge and condemn them. But the Lord passes by and answers my need and your need for gifts and mercy. With every word of prayer, we allow His light to enter us and illumine us completely in the love of the Father.

"Los que iban delante le reprendían, diciéndole que se callara; pero él gritaba aún más: 'Hijo de David, ten compasión de mí'" (Lucas 18,39).

Hasta que no conocemos a Jesús, nos amenazamos unos a otros. Si rezas, a menudo los demás quieren armarse de valor y hacerte callar. No debemos ceder, no debemos enfadarnos y rendirnos. Que aumente nuestro clamor a Dios. Perseveremos en la oración. Pero todos estamos ciegos. Sobre todo los que creemos ver y nos atrevemos a echar sal al ingenio de los demás o a juzgarlos y condenarlos. Pero el Señor pasa de largo y responde a mi necesidad y a tu necesidad de dones y misericordia. Con cada palabra de oración, permitimos que Su luz entre en nosotros y nos ilumine completamente en el amor del Padre.
